The Spy Museum documents and inspires crazy acts of espionage history. But in a city full of free museums, it seems expensive.
It might not be the best place for a general family visit. However, for special occasions and select family members, it’s a fun experience.
Three of our favorite highlights include:
1. U-2 Airplane Scrap
This fragment is from the reconnaissance plane that Gary Powers was shot down in over the Soviet Union.
2. Bloody Pickax
Stalin had Leon Trotsky killed even after he fled to Mexico. This pick ax was the murder weapon. Marxism is deadly.
3. George Washington’s Culver Ring
This original letter set up the espionage ring Washington used during the War for Independence.
