Visiting our founding father’s home is the best way to learn about him.
Going on Homeschool Day is the best value.
Here’s five things to see this year –

- Tour the mansion. See what you can learn about life at the Washington’s home in the 1700’s.
- Join the fifer on the green. He plays multiple instruments and engages with the kids.
- Take the National Treasure tour. It’s an additional cost. It’s worth it. Then watch the movie that night.

4. Join the Tribute at the Tomb at noon. See if the kids can spot the quote of John 11:25-26 above the graves.
5. Tour the gardens, farm fields and animal pens. You’ll be inspired for your own garden this spring.
