Pick one of these museums and pack the kids in the car for a fun Labor Day weekend trip. All three museums offer a unique, fun experience for the whole family.

Option #1: National Air and Space Museum
Explore the world of air travel, from flying cars to space capsules. They just finished renovating the first half over a year ago, so now’s the perfect time to visit if you haven’t gone yet.
Top things to see:
- Wright Brothers airplane, the very first heavier-than-aircraft
- Apollo 11 command module in Destination Moon
- Speed, a loud and colorful exhibit with all kinds of fast transportation
The museum does require you to reserve FREE tickets in advance.

Option #2: American History Museum
In honor of the American worker’s Labor Day celebrates, visit the museum dedicated to our history. There’s a bit of something for everyone here, no matter what part of history you like best.
Top things to see:
- The Star Spangled Banner- the very same one that flew over Fort McHenry in September 1814
- First Ladies gowns showcasing the different women’s styles across history
- FOOD, an exhibit about the ways our food has changed since WWII

Option #3: Natural History Museum
If your kids are more into science than history, this is the perfect museum for them. It’s also a wonderful opportunity to reinforce the truth of the Bible versus the lies of men portrayed in many exhibits.
Top things to see:
- The Ocean Hall, full of colorful creatures from the deep
- Hall of Fossils filled with dinosaur skeletons bigger than your car
- The Hall of Gems and Minerals, a popular exhibit for people of all ages
We hope you take this chance to spend time with your family and learn something new at a museum this weekend.
