This Saturday, June 21st, all the Smithsonian museums on the National Mall are staying open late in celebration of the summer solstice. Don’t miss this opportunity to see your favorite after the sun goes down.
Aren’t sure if you should go? Here are three ways to enjoy the night.

1) You’ve always said you’ll go to that museum. But you’re not a fan of downtown traffic and parking problems. You can avoid all that by visiting on Solstice Saturday.
2) You’ve got friends in town for the weekend. Here’s a chance to see everything. Bring them with you for this unique event they’ll remember forever.
3) Date night without the kids. You’ve taken them with you many times. Get a babysitter and go out late, like when you were young. Enjoy a different look at the Smithsonian.

This is your last chance to visit before the summer heat hits on Sunday. Bonus: the Arts and Industries building will be open, which most people have never seen.
It’s even spilling over into the National Gallery of Art’s Sculpture Garden with a crossover event centered on “Little Beasts”.
