The special exhibit containing the Megiddo Mosaic at the Museum of the Bible is now free to see. Just drop into the first floor of the museum to see it without admission until the end of the year.

The mosaic is the earliest excavated orthodox statement of Jesus’ divinity that’s been uncovered.
Created by Brutius one hundred years before the Nicene Creed in a Christian worship hall, the building and mosaic revolved around the communion table. The mosaic spells out “God Jesus Christ”, which confirms the early church’s belief in the divinity of Christ.

The mosaic is on loan from the Israel Antiques Authority, which conserved it earlier this year. Now you can see it for free, before it goes on to the British Museum and the Louvre.
