The Dead Sea Scrolls are one of the biggest discoveries relating to Bible history in recent years. And, starting this Saturday, November 22, you can see some of them at the Museum of the Bible.
This special exhibition allows visitors to see the scroll fragments alongside hundreds of other artifacts from the Second Temple Period (516 BC–70 AD).

Throughout the run of the exhibition, the museum will show the fragments in three sets.
- November 2025 to February 2026: Genesis, Job, Psalms, Astronomical Enoch, Barkhi Nafshi, War Scroll, Eschatological Commentary, and the Temple Scroll
- February to May 2026: Great Psalms Scroll, Numbers, Lamentations, Community Rule, Apocryphal Psalms, Purities, Non-Canonical Psalms, and the Book of the Giants
- May to September 2026: Isaiah, Tobit, Phylacteries, Birth of Noah, Jubilees, Communal Ceremony, Community Rule, and the Damascus Document
The scrolls are some of the oldest versions of the Bible ever discovered, yet they’re in beautiful condition for their age. They’re a near-perfect match for the Bible as we know it today, showing God’s hand in preserving His Word throughout time.
And, best of all, they weren’t found by archaeologists or historians but by a simple goatherder who stumbled across them by accident.
Other major items in the exhibition include the Magdala stone and a fragment of a first-century fishing boat similar to the kind Jesus and his disciples would have used.

This is a great opportunity for your kids to get a glimpse into the world Jesus lived in and discuss God’s hand on history. This is also your only opportunity to see these scrolls on the East Coast on their tour.
Since it’s a special exhibit, separate admission is required. Adult tickets are $14.99, and kids/seniors are $9.99, with kids under 4 getting in free.
Dead Sea Scrolls: The Exhibition is on view from November 22, 2025, to September 7, 2026, on the 5th Floor of the Museum of the Bible. To learn more and get tickets, visit their website.
